I'm Bryce Jennings, a licensed therapist that specializes in mental health therapy for men.

I've been in this field for over a decade and I still find myself passionate about the work that I do. I listen to people dive into their stories and their perceptions of the world and collaborate with them to improve their mental health. After college at the University of Colorado, I began working in the wilderness therapy industry with teens and young adults figuring out how they wanted to best transition into the next phase of their life. I then attended the University of Denver and received a Masters degree in mental health counseling. In my early stages as a therapist, I worked in community mental health, residential treatment centers, and intensive outpatient settings.

People I work well with often experience prolonged feelings of sadness or anxiety and want to feel more satisfaction in their lives. They can have experiences with behaviors that they can’t seem to rationalize or are counter to their values and goals. My clients can have relationship problems with important people in their lives, intense feelings of anger or fear or shame, traumatic histories, isolation tendencies, or motivation issues. Clients with these concerns have found support during my sessions as we build an understanding of each other, the thoughts and emotions that arise while we collaborate to ease psychological pain and promote a feeling of fulfillment.

In sessions with me, you can expect a genuine relationship that will develop at your pace. We will build understanding of what brought you to therapy and then create the insight and skills needed to improve your mental health.  Above all, I use an authentic human connection as a means to foster health and growth. After that trust and confidence presents itself, I use therapeutic techniques from CBT, DBT, attachment theory, and solutions-focused therapy to help strengthen your awareness and influence over your internal climate. In our time together, it will be common to feel like you did an emotional work out. It will also be common for both of us to laugh, think, learn, and be moved by our emotions.

When I'm not in sessions, I can often be found enjoying the usual Colorado outdoor activities or playing ultimate frisbee. When I'm at home I cook a lot while listening to whatever Spotify throws at me. I'm a big consumer of all things nerdy from movies and TV shows to video games. I'm a dog person, a sports fan, and a board game advocate. I’m also a family man with a young son!
